Port Day Wise.

Resort passes and beach days, compared.

HOW WE COMPARE

How we compare port-day choices

The main comparison should help you reach a useful shortlist without completing a questionnaire. We keep the detailed research and calculation work behind the scenes and explain the assumptions in the guide.

Compare the ticket, not just the resort

We start with the product being sold: the admission type, party, visit date and booking channel. A waterpark ticket, reserved lounger, beach-club booking and hotel day room can have different inclusions even when they share a resort name.

We distinguish general marketing descriptions from the particular offer shown. A promotion’s price does not establish its complete contract, and a hotel policy does not automatically apply to a nonhotel day ticket.

Trace material claims to evidence

Operator product pages, relevant FAQs and exact-offer terms are our first sources for inclusions and restrictions. Other named sources can add context, but repeating an operator’s statement does not make it independent confirmation.

The guide links its public references. When we use an archived booking-screen example, we identify its date and party context, distinguish it from a purchase receipt, and do not call it a newly verified quote.

AI assistance can help organize research and test a model. It is not evidence that a price, access condition or refund right exists. We do not create firsthand experiences, customer reviews or credentials to fill that gap.

Keep unknowns visible

Published pages can disagree. We state the disagreement and its scope rather than choose the version that produces the most attractive result.

Unknown is not the same as zero, free, included or unrestricted. If a missing detail could change the choice, we explain what needs confirmation before purchase. An unconfirmed transaction currency is not repaired by a general statement about the destination’s currency.

Match benefits to the usable part of the visit

Check-in, admission, attraction opening and meal or reserved-access windows can be different. We compare the benefits a traveler could actually use within the relevant window, not just the resort’s longest published day.

Worked examples identify their clock assumptions, travel allowances, preparation time and breaks. Ship time and local time must not be assumed identical. Actual all-aboard instructions matter separately from scheduled departure.

A modeled overlap is not a queue forecast, ride count or certified latest departure. Overlapping pool, beach and waterpark windows must not be added together as extra hours.

Keep the price comparison honest

A dated ticket amount is not a complete trip budget. Transport, food, required charges and optional purchases need their own treatment. We do not add a displayed tax or fee a second time when it is already within an order total.

We do not declare a cost winner when currencies or necessary amounts are unresolved. We also separate the financial exposure shown by an exact cancellation clause from rights or exceptions that the available evidence does not establish.

Explain who may prefer each option

Our conclusions follow the traveler’s priorities and the evidence available. We do not give every experience one universal score, assume the most expensive option is best, or treat a paid pass as necessary for a worthwhile day ashore.

Commercial links must not determine the verdict. Relevant financial relationships belong beside the affected recommendation or link, not only on a separate disclosure page.

How we use calculations

The spreadsheet supports our analysis of timing and cost assumptions. It is not a required reader exercise or a source of verified supplier facts. The guide explains the worked example and its limits without requiring you to enter your own details. A modeled result is not a personalized travel guarantee.

Checks, updates and corrections

We distinguish a substantive source check from a cosmetic date change. Operators can change information between checks, so confirm the exact offer before payment. We do not provide live price or operating-status monitoring.

For a correction, identify the page and disputed statement, and provide dated operator information when available. The Contact page gives the publisher’s current correspondence details.
